Qulaity Control Inspector (QC Experience Required) Jobs in El Paso, TX at T&K USA TX INC.
We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector to check raw hides, stitched covers, and final seat assemblies.
An automotive manufacturing quality control professional inspects parts, monitors assembly lines, and tests components to ensure they meet strict standards for safety, durability, and appearance.
Shift Available: 2nd Shift 5:30 pm – 4:00 am.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect Raw Materials: Check incoming leather hides for natural flaws, thickness consistency, color matching, texture variations, and scarring.
- Monitor Production: Oversee cutting and sewing processes to verify that stitching lines are straight, tight, and free of fraying or loose threads.
- Examine Finished Seats: Test seat assembly fit, foam contouring, electronic adjustments, and heating/ventilation functions (common in automotive manufacturing)
- Reject Defective Items: Pull and document any leather panels or assembled seats that show discoloration, wrinkles, tears, or dimensional errors.
- Record Data: Log inspection metrics, pass/fail rates, and waste logs into tracking software or company reporting systems.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of quality inspection in automotive manufacturing, textiles, or leather upholstery.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read drawings, templates, and upholstery blueprints.
- Soft Skills: Sharp visual attention to detail, color perception accuracy, and strong communication skills to report issues to production teams.
