Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Radiographic Testing Technician based in Qatar. The technician will be responsible for performing non-destructive testing (NDT) using radiographic techniques to evaluate the integrity of materials, components, and systems. Key responsibilities include setting up and calibrating testing equipment, interpreting radiographic results, maintaining detailed records and reports, and adhering to safety protocols and company standards. The role requires strong focus on precision and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Radiographic Testing (RT) techniques and general knowledge of NDT methods
- Experience in using and maintaining radiographic testing equipment
- Strong ability to analyze and interpret radiographic images and document results accurately
- Understanding of industry standards, safety regulations, and protocols related to NDT
- Teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with team members and report findings
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities in detecting material flaws
- Certification in Radiographic Testing (e.g., ASNT Level II or equivalent) is required
- Prior experience working in the oil and gas, manufacturing, or construction industries is an advantage
- Ability to work in a dynamic, on-site environment in Qatar
