Maintenance Quality Inspection Specialist
Where will you work: Onsite – New Wales, FL (3095 Highway 640 Mulberry, FL 33860)
You will be eligible to work a 9/80 schedule, which includes having every other Friday off. The core working hours are from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Quality Inspection Specialist to join our team, responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of walking working surfaces, the proper installation of grading and handrails, and the integrity of welding work. This role also involves overseeing the maintenance and functionality of pressure-regulated devices.

What you’ll do?
Conduct thorough inspections of walking working surfaces to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
Verify the proper installation and securement of grading and handrails in accordance with industry regulations and mosaic guidelines.
Inspect welding work to ensure it meets quality standards and is free from defects.
Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to promote a culture of safety and quality within the organization.
Oversee the maintenance and functionality of pressure-regulated devices.
Stay updated on industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices related to maintenance and quality assurance.
Collaborate with maintenance and contract teams to address and resolve quality assurance concerns.
Ensure all pressure-regulated devices comply with relevant safety regulations and standards.
Document and report any discrepancies or issues found during inspections and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain detailed records of inspections, findings, and corrective actions taken.
Track and document the status, maintenance schedules, and any issues related to these devices.
What you’ll need:
High School/GED
10 years proven experience in maintenance quality assurance or mechanical and welding experience.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards related to walking working surfaces, handrails, and welding.
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment.
Basic Microsoft Excel
Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Outlook skills preferred
SAP is preferred
