Receiving and Final Assembly Inspector Jobs in Mountain View, CA at Proteus Industries
Proteus Industries is a liquid flow meter manufacturer looking for an experienced Receiving and Final Assembly Inspector to join our team. Our products are widely used by semiconductor equipment, automotive, and other industrial customers.
We are seeking an experienced Receiving and Final Assembly Inspector.You will perform receiving Inspection of components & subassemblies per associated procedures as well as complete Inspection Logs and Reject/Waiver Reports with feedback of manufacturing technique and Final Assembly Inspection. As a Quality Assurance Department Member, you will participate in the MRB (Material Review Board) & RMA Task Force (Returned Materials) meetings that review material failures through the supply chain as well as any Returned Materials from customers. You will maintain or develop component/subassembly Inspection procedures and Receiving/Inspection Area and Final Inspection procedures.
You will have:
- At least three years inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
- A good understanding of basic math and geometry
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Good computer skills
- A two year college degree is a plus
- GD&T experience
- Measuring Methods (double substitution, artifact comparison)
- Measuring Tools Operation (calipers, surface plate, micrometer, ring and plug gages, pin gages, angle protractor, drop indicator, electrical multi-meter, pressure gauge, gauss meter)
- Measuring Tools Maintenance (calipers, surface plate, micrometer, pin/ring/plug gages, Drop indicator, etc.)
- Measuring Tool check standards (gage blocks, angle blocks, master coil for inductance, master rotor magnets for gauss, hole gauges)
- Profilometer in manual mode is a plus & ability to program Profilometer is a plus
- Machine Shop, molding/casting, welding & other manufacturing process experience is a plus
