Receiving Inspector Jobs in Catoosa, OK at WESTERMAN INC
Currently seeking a Quality Control Inspector with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have the ability to multi-task and prioritize daily tasks, must be efficient and detailed orientated.
Job Functions:
– Prepare and participate in ISO 9001:2015 audits
-Review shipping documents and verify that products for pickup are accurate and in order
– Verify lot numbers on incoming / outgoing shipments
– Inspect and check all paperwork
– Check weights, labels, seals, artwork etc. as listed on Inspection Checklists
– Update Inspection Checklists as necessary
– Record all test results and retain all associated paperwork
– Exercise judgment to react to quality control issues
– Generate records and contact Vendors regarding any materials that are non-conforming
– Take and maintain photos of incoming / outgoing shipments
– Maintain a safe and orderly department
– Follow established departmental policies, procedures and control standards
– Assist Supervisor with creating barcodes, UPC etc.
– Willingness to assist in all departments
Job Requirements:
– Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
– Strong attention to detail
– Must be organized
– Computer proficiency; Typing, fluent in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
– Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Competencies and Authorities:
– Associate’s degree preferred
– On the job training
– Quality Inspector experience preferred – 1 year minimum, 2 years preferred
– ISO experience is desirable
Physical Demands:
Standing for long periods, sitting, walking and bending may occur daily. This position may also require frequent lifting and/or moving of items over 50 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
