Job Overview
We are seeking experienced Quality Receiving Inspectors to perform in-process and receiving inspections of precision parts, assemblies, and materials. This role requires verifying conformance to specifications and drawings using various precision measuring tools.
Responsibilities:
Inspect raw, in-process, and finished parts for size, finish, and compliance using micrometers, calipers, comparators, and other tools.
Verify certifications for special processes like heat treating, plating, painting, etc.
Perform basic layout and surface plate inspections.
Document inspection results and assist in team inspections when required.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required.
5+ years of experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing quality inspection.
Proficient with GD&T, reading blueprints, and interpreting technical drawings/specs.
Familiarity with inspection procedures, materials certifications, and industry standards.
Strong attention to detail, punctuality, and ability to work independently.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.
Ability to sit, stand, and move for extended periods.
Use of PPE like safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, and aprons required.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $26.49 – $28.67 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
