As a QA Coordinator, your primary focus is team organization, communication, and process optimization rather than hands-on testing. You will orchestrate the QA workflow, ensuring tasks are properly assigned, progress is tracked, and product quality meets expectations.
This role acts as a bridge between QA, engineers, and stakeholders, facilitating clear communication between technical and non-technical teams, including Japanese counterparts.
Role and responsibilities
Team Coordination & Task Management
Organize and delegate QA tasks to other QA team members.
Ensure that testing workflows are optimized, and testing tasks are completed on time.
Provide guidance to QA team members, ensuring consistency and high standards in their work.
Communication & Stakeholder Management
Serve as the main point of contact between the QA team, engineers, and Japanese teams.
Ensure smooth communication of product requirements and issues across teams, clarifying specifications as needed.
Maintain clear and concise communication with non-technical stakeholders to explain project statuses and issues.
Process Oversight & Continuous Improvement
Monitor testing progress and ensure all issues are tracked and followed up until resolved.
Evaluate QA processes and identify areas for improvement, implementing best practices for future projects.
Facilitate and participate in team meetings to review progress, discuss challenges, and ensure alignment.
Documentation & Reporting
Ensure thorough documentation of test cases, issue reports, and project specifications.
Prepare and deliver regular updates and reports to management and other relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
Japanese Proficiency – JLPT N3 or equivalent; comfortable communicating with Japanese teams.
Excellent Organizational Skills – Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, manage timelines, and keep teams aligned.
Strong Communication – Able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Attention to Detail – Able to track progress and identify gaps or issues in the QA process.
Problem-Solving & Adaptability – Able to handle unexpected challenges and adjust plans as needed.
Documentation Skills – Comfortable preparing detailed reports, tracking issues, and maintaining clear project records.
Good to have
Basic Understanding of QA Practices – While not involved in manual testing, familiarity with QA methodologies and processes is preferred.

400$/month for the first 3 months of probation
