Title: RMA QA Engineer

We’re seeking an RMA QA Engineer to join our Hong Kong office. In this role, you’ll drive RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) quality operations, analyse failure data, and work cross-functionally to resolve RMA quality issues for our datacentre and PCBA products.
Work Location: Hong Kong Science Park
What You’ll Be Doing
- Analyse RMA cases, drive timely approvals/rejections, and consistently meet RMA turnaround time (TAT) targets
- Partner with customer-facing teams to resolve RMA-related inquiries, provide technical guidance on approval decisions, and escalate complex issues as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Customer Support) to investigate and resolve systemic RMA issues
- Develop and deliver RMA data analysis and reporting to internal stakeholders, identifying trends, failure modes, and opportunities for quality improvement
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance RMA processes, reduce cycle times, and improve overall customer quality experience
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 5+ years of experience in customer quality, RMA operations, or quality engineering within the electronics industry
- Hands-on experience managing RMA processes, including datacentre systems, PCBA manufacturing, or functional testing environments
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in QA tools (e.g., root cause analysis, Pareto analysis, fishbone diagrams)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional, global environment
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
- Experience in customer complaint handling, 8D problem-solving, or direct customer quality management
- Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems for RMA tracking and data extraction
- Technical debugging skills in test methodologies and failure analysis
- Programming or scripting experience (e.g., Python, VBA) and advanced proficiency with Excel and JMP for statistical analysis
