Must Have
- 7+ years of experience in system testing.
- Excellent knowledge of system testing methodology and executing system and user acceptance tests.
- Ability to understand and analyze business requirements, and systems response documents, to design and execute test plans to ensure the system functions and meets the business requirements.
- Experience verifying actual results meet expected results, examining test databases using SQL, analyzing and logging test results, documenting and monitoring resolution of system variances using an automated problem management system (e.g. Clear Quest).
- Ability to write and design test plans and test cases that are well-structured, easy to maintain, and easily understood by both developers and business analysts and clients, providing detailed testing plans.
- Experience with automated system testing and testing tools for CI/CD DevOps Pipelines
- Experience using automated testing scripts and tools (e.g. Rational Functional Tester, Selenium or any equivalent automated testing tool).

Responsibilities
- Participate in business requirements walkthroughs.
- Before being promoted into production
- Perform assigned system, iteration, acceptance, regression, volume, performance, post implementation and/or user acceptance testing tasks
- Analyze business requirements documentation including Use Cases and non-functional requirements.
- Contribute to the testing strategy and create systems test plan and test suites (including test cases).
- Analyze test data requirements and create appropriate test data to support the test strategy.
- Verify actual results meet expected results. Examine test databases using SQL. Analyze and log test results. Document and monitor resolution of system variances using an automated problem management system.
- Provide recommendations to the Project Manager as to the acceptance or rejection of any changed system components.
- Weekly reporting on status, progress, and key issue/concerns as directed by the Project Lead or Sr. Project Manager.
- Transfer skills and knowledge to selected OPS staff.
- The resource may be required to do similar work related to the role, for other initiatives within PRS, as directed by the manager.
Experience And Skill Set Requirements
Core Skills & Experience – (50%)
- 7+ years of experience in system testing
- Strong knowledge of system testing methodologies, including system and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Skilled in analyzing business requirements and system response documents to design effective test plans
- Experienced in validating actual vs expected results and ensuring system compliance with business needs
- Proficient in SQL for test data validation and database analysis
- Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., ClearQuest)
- Expertise in creating well-structured, maintainable, and clear test plans and test cases
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Experience working with use cases, user stories, and non-functional requirements
- Extensive experience in executing manual test cases and online test scripts
- Skilled in test data analysis and creation aligned with test strategies
- Experience with automated testing and CI/CD DevOps pipelines
- Knowledge of data migration testing processes
- Experience preparing defect reports, summaries, and tracking issues for prioritization
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Rational Functional Tester, or similar
- 5+ years of experience working in Agile environments (scrum, sprint planning, backlog management)

Note
- 5 days onsite
This position is listed as "Onsite"; the resource is expected to work 7.25 hours per calendar day between the standard working hours of 8:00-5:00 PM (excluding lunch breaks) every Monday to Friday inclusive at the identified OPS office location.
Extension/Amendment Attestation
Extensions are permitted only to the extent of unused contract days and/or remaining contract funds. No additional funds will be added beyond the maximum contract value, including any extension options set out in the original SOW.
HSC may exercise its option to extend the SOW beyond October 5, 2027, provided that the Master Service Agreement is extended. Any such extension shall be on the same terms, conditions, and covenants as those contained in the SOW.
