We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Functional QA Tester with strong Salesforce testing expertise to support enterprise applications.
The ideal candidate has experience in manual testing, Salesforce technologies, API testing, and Agile delivery.
What you'll do
- Create test plans, test cases, and test data based on business requirements
- Execute functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing
- Perform API testing and validate data using SQL queries
- Log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools
- Work closely with business analysts, developers, and product owners in Agile teams
- Report testing progress and ensure application quality
What you bring
- 7+ years of Salesforce functional testing experience
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce customization, Apex, Visualforce, Triggers, Batch Apex, and Scheduled Apex
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and QA methodologies
- Experience with API testing using Postman or Swagger
- Working knowledge of SQL and defect tracking tools such as Jira, ALM, or Rally
- Experience working in Agile environments and enterprise implementations
Nice to have
- Experience in the insurance domain and policy administration systems
- Knowledge of Salesforce test automation concepts
- Client-facing experience and strong communication skills
Work setup
- Hybrid role based in Toronto, Ontario
- 6+ month contract
