Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Greenwood Village, CO that is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented entry-level Scrum Master to support Agile teams in delivering high-quality software solutions. Summary: The ideal candidate will have foundational knowledge of Agile principles, a strong desire to learn, and a proactive mindset to foster collaboration across cross-functional teams. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to grow in an Agile environment and contribute to meaningful, customer-facing projects. Responsibilities:

Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies

Guide the team in Agile best practices and remove impediments to progress

Work with Product Owners to ensure the backlog is well-groomed and prioritized

Foster a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, and accountability within the team

Monitor sprint progress and provide reports or metrics to stakeholders as needed

Support team adherence to Agile methodologies and help coach new team members

Collaborate with other Scrum Masters to share knowledge and ensure consistency across teams

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field

0-3 years of experience working in an Agile environment (internship, academic project, or professional)

Understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks and core values

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Basic knowledge of tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps

Preferred Skills

Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM I, or equivalent)

Exposure to software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps environments

Ability to adapt quickly, learn from senior team members, and support multiple priorities

Familiarity with scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, etc.) is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
