About the Role
In seamless apparel, quality control isn’t just about catching loose threads—it’s about structural integrity, precise yarn tension, and perfect stretch recovery. We are seeking a detail-oriented Seamless Apparel QC Inspector to ensure every garment leaving our facility meets our high performance and visual standards. You will inspect garments straight off the circular knitting machines (“grey goods”) as well as post-dyed, heat-set finished products.
What You’ll Do
· Inline & End-Line Inspection: Inspect seamless garments at critical checkpoints (off-machine raw tubes, post-dyeing/washing, and final packing) for defects such as drop stitches, needle lines, torque, horizontal banding, and oil spots.
· Fit & Spec Verification: Measure tubular dimensions, flat lay specs, and stretch/recovery parameters against tech packs before and after heat-setting/boarding.
· Defect Logging & Root Cause: Document defect rates, identify recurring knit or finishing flaws, and communicate immediately with knitting technicians and sewing leads to adjust machine settings.
· Trim & Finishing Checks: Evaluate heat-transfer logos, bonded hems, flatlock stitching, and care labels for durability and placement accuracy.
What We’re Looking For
· Experience: 2+ years of QC/inspection experience in apparel manufacturing, with direct experience in seamless, circular knits, or activewear.
· Keen Eye for Fabrics: Ability to spot subtle fabric flaws, color shading variance across dye lots, and yarn slubs quickly.
· Testing Knowledge: Familiarity with basic stretch, pull, seam-strength, and colorfastness testing methods.
Communication: Ability to work on your feet, collaborate directly with machine operators and floor managers, and maintain clear daily inspection logs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 – $23.00 per hour
