We are seeking a skilled Senior Automation Engineer with a strong background in Cypress to join our team. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining our automated testing framework, ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automation, a strong understanding of testing principles, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
How You’ll Spend Your Time:
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Cypress for web applications.
Lead and coordinate efforts with Automation Engineers in a collaborative way that emphasizes teamwork.
Be able to effectively communicate and present work to the client, including demonstrating the functionality and reliability of the automation solutions.
Collaborate with QA and development teams to identify and prioritize test cases for automation.
Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks and test suites.
Analyze test results, identify issues, and report defects clearly and concisely.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Stay up to date with the latest testing tools, technologies, and industry trends.
Requirements:
Qualification: Graduate/Postgraduate in BCA, B.Tech /B.E. in Any Specialization
Experience: 5-7 years of experience in software testing and automation.
Strong proficiency in Cypress and JavaScript.
Experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks.
Familiarity with various testing methodologies and techniques (e.g., functional, regression, integration testing).
Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to have:
Experience with other automation tools like Selenium.
Knowledge of API testing and performance testing.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Experience in testing web applications built with Angular or React.
Experience with Scrum teams and methodologies.
