What will you do?
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts for the critical Order Management System (OMS) using Java, Cucumber, and Karaté DSL.
- Execute advanced testing and validation of REST APIs with tools like Postman, ensuring the reliability of 24+ Java/Spring Boot microservices deployed on Kubernetes.
- Analyze functional specifications and User Stories to define comprehensive automated test cases, contributing to a high-quality e-commerce order flow.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for test automation, leveraging tools such as GitLab CI within a Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Couchbase ecosystem.
- Collaborate actively with development teams, share knowledge, and promote continuous improvement in QA practices and processes.
What are we looking for?
At Aubay, our focus is on professionals who bring both technical expertise and the right mindset:
- Over 7 years of proven experience as a Senior QA Automation Back, demonstrating advanced proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
- Solid expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts with Cucumber and Karaté DSL, and testing REST APIs with Postman.
- Experience in managing CI/CD pipelines for test automation (e.g., GitLab CI) and using Jira XRAY for test management and quality tracking.
- Advanced level of French (B2 minimum) for seamless written and oral communication with business and technical stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of software quality assurance principles (e.g., ISTQB) and agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum), ideally within a retail or large distribution environment.
- A Master’s degree in IT or equivalent professional experience is highly valued.
