Job Summary Quality Assurance Technician
As a member of the Food Safety & Quality Assurance department, the Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for monitoring the production process by testing, recording, and analyzing results for product manufacturing processes to ensure safe operation of the Quality Department.
Essential Duties for the Quality Assurance Technician:
Inspect products to ensure quality and safety
Upholding sanitary practices, including allergen control and pest control
Working closely with production teams with daily paperwork, quality checks, and HACCP procedures
Assisting with quality training exercises
Maintaining accurate documentation
Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications for the Quality Assurance Technician:
High School Diploma or equivalent
HACCP or PCQI Certification desirable but not required
Manufacturing experience helpful but not required
Working Environment:
Working in an air-conditioned office and food manufacturing environment
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work – Quality Assurance Technician:
Full time, Monday through Friday, typically 40 hours per week, daylight shift, occasional overtime opportunities
