Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Software Testing Specialist with extensive experience in software testing methodologies and a strong focus on Pega REST. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software applications through rigorous testing processes.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure software quality.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects in a timely manner.
- Utilize Pega REST services to validate and test integrations and APIs.
- Document test results and provide feedback to stakeholders on software quality.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor junior testing team members and provide guidance on best practices.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Pega REST services.
- Proficiency in software testing methodologies and tools.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools.
- Knowledge of other Pega components and frameworks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on Pega applications.
- Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
