Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Software Testing Engineer with a strong background in C# (C Sharp) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software testing methodologies and a proven track record of ensuring high-quality software delivery. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test plans, as well as collaborating with development teams to identify and resolve defects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on software requirements.
- Utilize C# to create automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
- Provide status reports and metrics on testing progress and quality assurance efforts.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong proficiency in C# (C Sharp) programming language.
- Extensive experience in software testing, including manual and automated testing.
- Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, NUnit, MSTest).
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with performance testing and security testing.
- Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments.
- Experience in mentoring junior testers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in software testing with a focus on C#.
- Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
