This vacancy has arisen within the Technical Facilities Department.
Purpose of position
Responsible for ensuring high-quality standards in the Technical Facilities department. This role includes leading the Quality Excellence team, managing the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), monitoring vendor performance, and supporting quality-focused projects. The role also involves conducting audits and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations to support safe and efficient operations.
Duties and responsibilities
Maintains Quality policies and procedures related to Technical Services Department, ensuring compliance with associated standards at all times
Oversee the configuration, performance, and data integrity of the CMMS
Lead initiatives to improve CMMS workflows, data quality, and maintenance process integration
Generate performance, reliability, and compliance reports using CMMS data to assist with lifecycle tracking of terminal and airfield assets.
Collaborate with terminal and airfield facilities management to analyse trends in maintenance operations, providing recommendations for process improvements
Ensure third party vendor maintenance activities are properly documented and tracked in the CMMS
Monitor adherence to vendor service level agreements and key performance indicators
Review and maintain records of warranties, service contracts, and inspection reports
Conduct vendor evaluations and performance review meetings in collaboration with Procurement
Support the planning and implementation of infrastructure and technical projects
Collaborate with various internal and external technical stakeholders on the vetting of new design submissions and commissioning of completed works, ensuring related methods and deliverables always meet MIA’s quality expectations
Review operation and maintenance manuals, as-built drawings, and equipment submittals for integration into CMMS
Ensure vendor-provided maintenance procedures and intervals are captured accurately
Collaborate with equipment vendors/manufacturers and consultants to define preventive or predictive maintenance schedules and procedures for new infrastructure and MEP systems
Conduct scheduled and surprise inspections and audits to assess the completion and quality of workmanship associated with scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance works.
Requirements
Experience & Qualifications
Experience in quality assurance, facilities maintenance, or technical project management
Knowledge of CMMS platforms and data-driven performance management
Familiarity with infrastructure asset management, safety standards, and vendor oversight
Excellent communication, training, and leadership abilities
Relevant technical qualifications or certifications preferred
Analytical thinking and attention to detail
Process-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
Proficiency in report generation and data interpretation
