Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Executive – Quality Management located in Dubai. The Senior Executive will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality of products and services throughout the pharmacy network. Daily tasks include setting quality standards, conducting audits, implementing quality improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role also involves working closely with other departments to maintain the high standards of the pharmacy’s offerings.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Quality Management principles and practices
Experience in conducting quality audits and implementing quality improvement initiatives
Understanding of regulatory compliance and standards within the healthcare industry
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and team collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Pharmacy, or a related field
Previous experience in a senior quality management role is preferred
Proficiency in using quality management software and tools
Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is highly beneficial
Job Responsibilities
To collect and verify key performance indicators (KPIs), conduct data tracking, analysis, and produce these reports to management on a periodic basis.
Manage controlled documentation & SOP updating as and when required.
To conduct regular quality audits, including regulatory parameters, medication safety, service quality, first aid, expiry management etc.
To keep track of audits across all units and deliver feedback reports to retail teams based on audit findings for rectification and follow-up on closures.
To facilitate training and education for the units to promote quality as well as safety and risk management.
To identify areas for improvement through red flags in KPIs, audits, and incident management.
To support accreditation and certification processes.
To assist with quality improvement projects to develop solutions through QI projects.
To coordinate regular review meetings on incidents, medication errors, complaints and serious reportable events.
To keep a record of all meetings, reviews, reporting, and closing the loop with the respective heads of departments and management.
Perform other relevant tasks assigned as requested by department managers/directors.
