Requirements:
B.Tech in Food Technology
2+ years of experience in production, quality control & inventory management.
Candidate must be ready to travel based on the production schedule to the production units.
Must be willing to travel 10-15 days in a month
Compensation upto 4.8 LPA
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Production Management
Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Work with procurement and supply chain teams to plan raw material usage efficiently.
Maintain production reports and production efficiency tracking.
2. Quality Control & Compliance
Implement quality control checks at different production stages.
Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, ISO, and other relevant food safety standards.
Conduct sensory evaluation and microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
Maintain the quality records.
Monitor water quality, ingredient quality, and finished product quality as per company standards.
Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
Train production staff on food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
3. Inventory & Raw Material Management
Maintain inventory records for raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products.
Coding of raw materials based on the allocated internal codes.
Implement First In, First Out (FIFO) and First Expiry, First Out (FEFO) inventory management systems.
Ensure proper storage conditions for raw materials and finished goods.
Coordinate with the purchase team to track stock levels and place orders as required.
Minimize wastage and pilferage by keeping track of material usage.
Perform monthly and yearly stock audits and report discrepancies.
4. Coordination & Reporting
Work closely with the R&D team for new product development and trials.
Coordinate with the purchase, logistics, and sales teams for smooth operations.
Prepare and present daily/weekly/monthly reports on production, quality, and inventory status to management.
Required Skills & Knowledge
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, quality control, and HACCP principles.
Understanding of production planning, inventory management, and cost optimization.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems, SAP, or inventory management software.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lead a team and coordinate across departments.
