Role Description
• Project Management analyze project specifications, create, and execute test scenarios, document results, manage priorities, and maintain continuous communication with project stakeholders.
• Analyze internal log files for detailed troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Leverage Veri Fix for testing FIX protocol and creating/maintaining automated test cases.
• Execute and document functional, regression, integration, and performance test cases.
• Report and track issues found during the QA lifecycle.
• Liaise with dev team and product team to ensure correct test coverage and acceptance criteria.
• Carry out functional, performance and regression tests.
• Report and keep track of bugs in Jira.
• Create and issue QA signoff documents.
• Ensure all testing and documentation compliant to relevant standards and procedures.
Required Skill Set
• Experience in writing test plan, bug reports and QA signoff documentation.
• Experience with both manual testing and automated testing, especially Cucumber BDD testing.
• Good Linux skills to perform testing activities on Linux servers.
• Good database and spreadsheet skills to analyze and visualize test data.
• Knowledge and experience of testing trading applications.
• Knowledge of FIX messages.
• Deadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high-quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
• Knowledge of any asset class (Future/Equity/FX) trading and/or electronic/algo trading.
• A confident and self-motivated individual and able to work in a fast paced, demanding environment.
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
• 3-5 years’ experience testing electronic trading systems.
• Good working knowledge of application integration, functional, regression, and performance testing
