Essential Functions
Inspecting bare printed circuit board assemblies to IPC-A-610 Class 2-3 and J-STD-001 + Space, Class 3
Inspecting for the presence/absence of hardware parts (inserts) and physical defects on mechanical parts.
Inspecting products in a timely manner while following all required procedures.
Logging defects and escalating, as needed.
Required & Preferred Education/Experience/Skills
IPC Certification is a plus.
Associate’s degree, or relevant studies and/or training supporting this position.
2+ years’ experience inspecting printed circuit boards.
Ability to interpret assembly drawings, bill of materials, and electrical change orders.
Familiarity with inspection aids and tools required to perform inspection and assembly functions.
Work Environment/Physical & Mental Requirements
This job requires the use of magnifying equipment and other tools used in the inspection of printed circuit boards.
Requires operating a computer.
Requires frequent physical lifting of printed circuit boards up to 10 lbs.
Requires constant viewing of printed circuit boards and mechanical parts.
This job operates in a manufacturing assembly environment.
