About the Company
Our client, a leading Global Medical Devices Manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Manager to oversee the Quality function in their Shannon facility.
About the Role
This role will manage the existing team to ensure smooth and continuous operations of site quality system, quality control and assurance inspection for in process and finished goods as this site enjoys a defined growth trajectory over the next 3 year period.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of process audits and final product release documentation.
- Advise and facilitate failure investigations, compliance methodologies for manufacturing of valve assemblies.
- Management of existing team, with a keen eye on growing out the quality function as the site grows will be a pre-requisite for this role.
- A clear focus on implementing and optimizing quality engineering practices while ensuring a culture of quality and compliance with global regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum Level 8 Degree
Required Skills
- Experience in quality management within the medical devices industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of global regulatory requirements.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with metals a distinct advantage
- Proven track record of implementing quality engineering practices.
