Candidates must have at least 4 hours of overlap with Eastern Time and be comfortable working with a politically conservative organization and user base.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive manual testing of web-based applications and donation workflows.
  • Create and execute test plans, test cases, and regression testing activities.
  • Identify, document, reproduce, and track software defects through resolution.
  • Collaborate directly with Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders to ensure quality releases.
  • Validate functionality across browsers and platforms, including BrowserStack-supported mobile testing when required.
  • Participate in requirement reviews and provide QA feedback throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Support user acceptance testing and release validation efforts.
  • Communicate testing results, risks, and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Contribute to QA process improvements and test strategy discussions.
  • Assist with automation-related initiatives when appropriate, while maintaining a manual testing-first mindset.

Requirements

  • Senior-level QA experience with a strong emphasis on manual testing.
  • Experience testing web-based applications and user-facing workflows.
  • Ability to independently manage testing efforts with minimal supervision.
  • Strong defect investigation, documentation, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Experience creating test plans, test cases, and regression test suites.
  • Familiarity with cross-browser testing methodologies.
  • Experience using BrowserStack or similar tools is preferred.
  • Exposure to test automation concepts and tools is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week with at least 4 hours of Eastern Time overlap (7-8 preferred).
  • Comfortable working with a politically conservative organization and stakeholder group.
