ATC has an opening for a full-time Quality Assurance Engineer based in the ATC Chelmsford, MA facility. As a Quality Assurance Engineer at ATC, the candidate will be responsible for supporting the manufacture, test and shipment of high reliability electronic, electromechanical and mechanical assemblies. This role offers a unique opportunity to work hands-on with high reliability space and aerospace electronics in a dynamic team environment.
Responsibilities:
Review and approve manufacturing processes and documentation
Collaborate with engineers, production and quality control inspectors to resolve quality-related issues
Participate in failure and non-conformance investigations working towards Root Cause and Corrective Actions
Review manufacturing documentation for completeness and accuracy prior to delivery of product
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
Prior experience with J-STD-001, IPC-610, and/or NASA 8739 and/or related inspection criteria. Willing to train individuals with related inspection experience
Prior experience with ISO9001 and AS9100 auditing procedures
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as a team player
