TThe Senior QA and Business Analyst is responsible for gathering and analysing business and technical requirements through stakeholder engagement, research, and data analysis to define solution scope and requirements. They ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle by creating and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Accountabilities
- Develop and oversee test plans, test scripts, and perform regression and system testing to validate the configured solutions.
- Implement quality assurance and testing services to ensure that all information systems, products, and services meet the organisation's standards and end-user requirements against each release cycle.
- Conduct a high level functional and regression testing and oversee the testing lifecycle to ensure the integrity and reliability of the various platforms. This includes core business, integration, data, IT service management and customer service platforms.
- Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to perform user acceptance testing (UAT) and address any issues or bugs identified.
- Experience working with Public Cloud (AWS), MuleSoft, Kafka, Azure DevOps, Dynatrace, ServiceNow and any similar cloud-based solutions.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in executing complex testing campaigns, displaying a strong understanding of SQA methodologies and strong knowledge in the above technologies
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and working experience in Agile environments is strongly desired.
- Strong structured testing knowledge and thorough understanding of performance testing and desirable knowledge in penetration testing on Platforms and applications.
- Great attention to detail and ability to identify, isolate and document defects in complex software features
- Customer focused – Seeks to understand client’s business requirements and provides input to serve the client.
- Experience in software deployments.
- Strong analytical, good verbal and written communication skills, self-starter, and influencing skills
- Close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analysing data, transcribing/typing, viewing a computer, and extensive reading.
