Job Description

AE Systems is seeking a Quality Inspector II, supporting operations in Fort Walton Beach, FL.

You will:
Use predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to visually inspect in-process and completed electronic/electrical assembled products such as Electronic Assemblies, Electrical Cables and Harnesses, Surface Mount and Thru Hole Circuit Card Asseblies.
Use various measuring devices and testing equipment.
Accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units or systems.
Work from blueprints, diagrams, customer, regulatory and BAE specifications, drawings or inspection instructions and checklists.
IPC-610 and J-STD-001 experience Preferred.
Provide feedback in a professional manner to operators pertaining to inspection results

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience: 0-2 years of experience in electronic quality control, inspection, or testing.
Knowledge: Basic understanding of electronic principles, including circuit analysis and component identification.
Equipment Proficiency: Basic understanding of inspection tools
Analytical Skills: Basic analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to interpret data.
Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Associate’s Degree: Associate’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Certifications: Familiarity with quality control standards, such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar.
Experience: Experience with statistical process control, lean manufacturing, or six sigma methodologies.
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with electronic design automation (EDA) tools, such as CAD or CAE software as well as MicroSoft Office Suite.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $38192 – $61108

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
