Reporting directly to the Group Quality division located in Europe, the Senior Quality Manager will oversee the end-to-end quality function at the Vietnam site, spearheading operational excellence and driving continuous improvement strategies across the facility.

Core Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership: Direct and oversee all Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) operations across the plant.
  • System Optimization: Design, execute, and refine Quality Management Systems (QMS) to guarantee alignment with global client specifications, regulatory mandates, and internal policies.
  • Vendor Management: Monitor and evaluate supplier quality metrics, managing vendor audits, corrective action plans, and strategic supplier advancement programs.
  • Audit Ownership: Head all internal, external, client-led, and official certification audits.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to international frameworks and standards, including ISO, BRC, HACCP, GMP, and related quality frameworks.
  • Customer Quality & Resolution: Champion the customer complaint resolution process, ensuring rigorous root-cause analyses, robust CAPA execution, and ongoing corrective enhancements.
  • Risk Mitigation: Track product quality metrics and deploy proactive preventive measures to minimize defects and customer dissatisfaction.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner seamlessly with Manufacturing, Engineering, Sourcing, Commercial, and Supply Chain departments to foster overall operational efficiency.
  • Market Compliance: Facilitate product certifications and compliance standards required for seamless distribution in global markets.
  • Talent Development: Mentor, guide, and upskill the Quality team, fostering both technical expertise and leadership qualities.
  • Culture Driver: Cultivate a site-wide mindset focused on quality ownership, accountability, and a continuous improvement philosophy.

Key Qualifications

  • Education: University degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Polymer Science, or a closely related technical field.
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 8 years of dedicated quality management experience within a manufacturing setup.
  • Leadership Background: At least 3 years in a pivotal managerial role leading and developing quality teams.
  • Core Competencies: Proven expertise spanning:
  • Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC); Vendor & Supplier Quality Management; Client-Facing Quality Management; Audit Protocols & Certification Frameworks
  • Problem-Solving Methodologies & Continuous Improvement
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep familiarity with ISO 9001, GMP, HACCP, BRC, and analytical quality tools (including FMEA, 5 Whys, Fishbone, DMAIC, etc.).
  • Global Exposure: Prior experience interfacing with global clients and navigating multinational corporate environments.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding leadership capabilities, strong stakeholder management, and excellent communication skills.
  • Language: Fluency in English (both written and verbal proficiency is essential).
