Responsibilities:
To perform the project closeout process in a timely manner by provides technical expertise to the close-out function and to ensure sign off and handover of the project to the Client on time.
Organize and attend regular close-out meetings with Contractor and Client.
Development of action plans that require implementation to allow the close out of the outstanding project items that have been identified and Perform analysis of all projects in the legacy project close out portfolio.
Preparation of a legacy close out report for each project based on the findings of the analysis performed.
Working with the project engineering, field engineering and contract administration teams to manage and record the closure of all outstanding project items.
To work closely with other members of the project close out team performing a similar exercise for the financial closeout of the same projects.
To assist the Project Manager in the day to day duties of the project’s administration and maintain the necessary close-out documentation logs.
To gather and organize Client special close-out requirements. Monitor projects for construction document compliance. Check all completion certificates in the certification records to ensure sign off and handover of the engineering change/project to the Client.
Communicate progress regularly and identify party responsible for preparing, conducting or submitting needed documents. Submit close-out documentation to the Client within parameters established by the Client.
To assist with the asset transfer exercise undertaken in conjunction with the Client and ad hoc reports as requested by Senior Management and the Client.
Perform any other jobs as may be assigned by the Management.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
12+ years of engineering experience or a similar role in the construction industry & with a strong background in infrastructure projects.
Quality Certification (like QMS Lead Auditor as per ISO 9001:2015, or CMQ as per ASQ or similar) would be an added advantage.
