Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced QA with deep expertise in Selenium automation to take ownership of our test automation efforts and lead a high-performing QA team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical foundation in automation frameworks, hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, and a passion for delivering high-quality software in a CI/CD and Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
Senior QA with Selenium-based automation frameworks for web applications.
Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline and collaborate with DevOps and development teams to streamline releases.
Define test strategies and implement best practices across automation, performance, and security testing.
Design comprehensive test plans, develop reusable test cases/scripts, and ensure thorough test coverage.
Analyze automation test results, identify and log defects, and collaborate with developers for quick resolution.
Ensure robust cross-browser and mobile testing coverage using tools such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Stay current with the latest in automation tools and frameworks, continuously optimizing QA processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in software QA, with at least 3+ years of hands-on Selenium automation.
Proficient in Java, Python, or JavaScript for scripting automated test cases.
Strong experience with test automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber.
Solid knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, and Docker.
Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured.
Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter is a plus.
Understanding of BDD/TDD methodologies and their application in automation.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Effective leadership and communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams.
