Responsibilities
Develop and implement QA policies and procedures to comply with company standards and regulations.
Design, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, usability, and security.
Conduct manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
Collaborate with developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to align QA efforts with project requirements throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).
Monitor and analyze QA metrics (e.g., defect density, test coverage, test effectiveness) to assess product quality.
Stay updated with industry trends, QA methodologies, and emerging tools, implementing best practices to enhance testing efficiency.
Contribute to test automation frameworks using programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or Selenium.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with expertise in both manual and automated testing.
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
Proficiency in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Hands-on experience with test automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (Java, Python, or similar) for test automation.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the SDLC.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
Knowledge of API testing (Postman, REST Assured).
Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
Ability to prioritize tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
ISTQB or other QA certifications.
