- Conduct regular inline/inspections at various stages of production, including fabric, stitching, and finishing.
- Perform AQL (Acceptable Quality Limit) sampling inspections on semi-finished and finished goods and report on a daily basis to the Team leader.
- Identify defects such as fabrics, print, embroideries, shading variations, measurement deviations, and stains.
- Measure garments against the approved buyer spec sheets and tech packs to ensure size accuracy.
- Check stretchability, rib recovery, and overall fit parameters specific to knitwear and woven.
- Isolate defective pieces and immediately report systemic issues to the Floor Supervisor or Production Manager.
- Work alongside the knitting and assembly teams to troubleshoot the root cause of recurring defects (e.g., machine malfunctions or yarn flaws).
- Maintain accurate daily quality reports, defect logs, and inspection checklists.
- Provide feedback to the Team lead Manager regarding production quality reports.
Requirements
- Experience: 6-8 years
- Education: bachelor of science in textile engineering (te)
