We’re looking for an experienced QA Engineer to take ownership of quality assurance efforts for a cloud-based computation engine used in the earth modeling domain. If you have a strong QA background and understand the mindset of geoscientists or have worked in Oil & Gas or geomodelling environments—this role is made for you.
What You’ll Do:
Lead QA activities for complex, enterprise-grade applications.
Design and validate domain workflows using your geomodelling or geoscience knowledge.
Contribute to and improve existing automation and testing frameworks.
Mentor junior QA team members and drive quality culture.
Push for efficiency—identify areas to reduce manual work and boost test automation.
Be an expert user of the system—run regression, exploratory, and feature testing.
Own defect creation, test case documentation, and validation criteria in Azure DevOps.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in a multi-cultural, multi-time zone setup.
✅ What You Bring:
7+ years of QA experience in enterprise-level applications.
Strong background in earth modelling, geomodelling, or related scientific domains.
Skilled in writing and executing comprehensive and automated test cases.
Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP), microservices, and big data familiarity.
Agile mindset – comfortable in iterative development cycles.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey issues clearly to dev teams.
Bonus Points For:
Experience with modeling software used in geoscience or subsurface applications.
Background in the Oil & Gas industry.
Agile Scrum certification.
