Position
Description:
This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto (250 Yonge St, Toronto) and/or Client office at a minimum 2 days per week – subject to change at any time.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Design and implement testing plans for products
- Manage and execute complex test scenarios
- Responsible for the creation of testing artifacts including but not limited to test cases, test scripts, test conditions, and expected test results.
- Map test cases to business requirements and functional designs.
- Creating and reviewing testing deliverables.
- Identify procedures and scenarios for the quality control of products and services.
- Process product reviews and inform the development team of defects and errors.
- Communicate quantitative and qualitative findings from test results to the development team.
- Monitor efforts to resolve product issues and track progress.
- Ensure that the final product satisfies the product requirements and meets end-user expectations.
- Spot areas for improvement to enhance the product’s efficiency.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Business Administration).
- Selenium and Rest Assured are must have.
- Possesses a minimum of 7-8 years of QA experience.
- Work collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
- Strong aptitude for learning new technologies.
- Good understanding of testing methodologies and testing processes.
- Understand software development life cycle process and various testing techniques including a proficiency in system testing.
- Good documentation and communication skills.
