Role Overview:
The Senior/Mid-Level Quality Analyst is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and functionality of the Company’s software applications and systems. This role involves performing structured testing activities, identifying defects, validating business requirements, and ensuring that all developed features meet defined quality standards before deployment. The ideal candidate will work closely with Developers, Product Teams, and Business Teams to support smooth release cycles, minimize production issues, and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in end-to-end software testing activities across applications and systems.
• Review business requirements, functional specifications, and workflows to understand testing scope.
• Prepare and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
• Perform functional, system, and regression testing to validate application behavior and workflow accuracy.
• Validate data accuracy, calculations, and business logic across systems and modules.
• Identify, document, and track defects using approved issue tracking tools.
• Coordinate with developers for issue clarification, bug fixing, and retesting activities.
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring defects and quality issues.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities with business and operational teams.
• Assist stakeholders during UAT execution and issue verification processes.
• Perform final verification and release validation before production deployment.
• Participate in test planning, sprint discussions, and release readiness meetings.
• Estimate testing efforts, timelines, and testing impact for assigned tasks.
• Improve testing processes, documentation standards, and QA practices.
• Maintain test cases, defect logs, test reports, and testing evidence documentation.
• Communicate quality risks, testing observations, and project updates proactively.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support smooth project delivery and release cycles.
• Ensure compliance with internal quality standards, policies, and security guidelines.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to workflow enhancement activities.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing roles.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and testing life cycles.
• Experience in functional testing, system testing, regression testing, and UAT support.
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and prepare effective test cases and scenarios.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of databases, APIs, and system workflows is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies is preferred.
• Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to software quality standards.
