We are currently hiring a Certification Specialist (Quality Administrator) at our Millersburg, Oregon location. You will report to our Quality Senior Leader. This is a day shift position and typically works Monday – Friday. As a Certification Specialist, you are instrumental in coordinating and administering the product certification process, maintaining quality records, as well as supporting various assignments to meet quality and compliance objectives. The position will also work across the organization to build strong relationships, organize priorities, and communicate in a detail-oriented way to help others understand the purpose of processes and procedures.

In order to be successful and provide immediate impact, you will have to quickly grasp ATI’s processes and work with cross-functional teams including Operations, Engineering, Inspection, Planning and union employees. The Certification Specialist will be able to work in a fast paced environment with diverse personalities, have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain harmonious working relationships in a dynamic environment and the ability to express and challenge ideas and convey information effectively in oral and written format.

Responsibilities

Opening certification data packs by obtaining and organizing backup documentation. These items include test results, material travelers, heat treatment information, inspection reports, sample sheets, ingot releases, etc.
Generating certification formats and entering data from backup documentation on to certifications.
Reviewing and approving travelers and final certifications.
Checking data for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with requirements.
Maintaining daily records of certification status.
Participate in Continuous Improvement efforts to implement standards focused on accuracy and efficiency.
Interacting with customers on quality issues, performance scorecards, and quality audits.

Requirements:

Basic Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Requirements

Must be able to obtain a Department of Energy (DOE) Security Clearance

Preferences

Associate’s Degree in science, engineering or related field preferred.
Manufacturing experience.
At least 2 years experience in a quality/document review position.

Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of and ability to apply business English, Math, and basic Chemistry.
Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite using MS Word, MS Excel applications, and Oracle.
Ability to perform work in an expeditious and highly accurate manner.
Candidates must be comfortable managing conflict, change and multiples priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range: $47,000 to $61,000/annually +
