Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer with 9+ years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing robust test automation frameworks across web, API, and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Selenium with Java, Playwright with TypeScript, BDD using Cucumber, API testing, CI/CD integration, and Azure DevOps pipelines, along with hands-on experience in mobile automation using Appium, Espresso, and XCUITest.

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with Java and Playwright with TypeScript.
  • Lead BDD automation implementation using Cucumber and Gherkin, ensuring business-readable test scenarios and collaboration across teams.
  • Automate functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end test suites to improve test coverage and release quality.
  • Perform comprehensive API testing and validation using Postman, REST-based tools, and REST Assured frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain mobile automation frameworks using Appium for Android and iOS (Native, Hybrid, and Mobile Web applications).
  • Implement Android UI automation using Espresso and iOS automation using XCUITest.
  • Integrate automation test execution into CI/CD pipelines and configure automated builds using Azure DevOps Pipelines.
  • Manage test artifacts, repositories, and sprint boards using Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Boards).
  • Conduct automation code reviews, optimize framework performance, and ensure code reusability and maintainability.
  • Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.
  • Perform root-cause analysis, defect triaging, and risk identification to proactively address quality issues.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers, enforce automation standards, and promote best practices in test automation.
  • Support testing efforts within microservices-based architectures and cloud environments.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Test Automation Frameworks: Selenium WebDriver (Java), Playwright (TypeScript), Hybrid & Data-Driven Frameworks, Page Object Model (POM), BDD Frameworks.
  • BDD & Test Design: Cucumber, Gherkin, Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), Test Scenario Design, Acceptance Criteria Validation.
  • Mobile Automation: Appium (Android & iOS – Native, Hybrid, Mobile Web), Espresso (Android UI Testing), XCUITest (iOS Automation).
  • API Testing & Automation: Postman, REST Assured, RESTful APIs, API Validation, Microservices Testing.
  • CI/CD & DevOps Integration: Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Boards), CI/CD Pipelines, Jenkins (Preferred), Git Version Control.
  • Programming & Scripting: Java, TypeScript, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Exception Handling, Logging Frameworks.
  • 3 years of hands-on experience with Cypress automation.
  • Testing Methodologies: SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, Test Planning, Test Strategy, Risk-Based Testing.
  • Defect & Quality Management: Root Cause Analysis, Defect Lifecycle Management, Test Reporting, Automation Metrics.
