Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.
- Implement end-to-end automation testing for web applications.
- Develop and execute automated test cases using Java, Playwright, and Cucumber.
- Write and maintain reusable XPath locators and automation components.
- Perform API, UI, regression, smoke, and functional testing.
- Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and track issue resolution.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and QA planning activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of automation frameworks and testing processes.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Java
- Expertise in Playwright Automation
- Strong experience with Cucumber (BDD Framework)
- Experience in end-to-end test automation implementation
- Hands-on experience in writing XPath
- Good expertise in Playwright or JMeter
- Experience with API testing and automation frameworks
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
- Experience with Git/version control tools
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to AI/GenAI tools
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins/GitHub Actions
- Knowledge of Selenium, REST Assured, or API automation
- Exposure to performance testing tools
- Familiarity with cloud environments
