Cornerstone TTS is looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer that will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of large-scale applications within the organization. This position will focus on developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts for enterprise systems that support regulatory compliance, provider portals, and case management solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automation testing, SQL database testing, Agile methodologies, and defect management tools like JIRA. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance software quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional and non-functional testing.
Prepare and manage test data, execute scripts, and validate results to ensure software quality.
Analyze test outcomes, document defects, and work closely with development teams to support defect resolution.
Collaborate with software engineers to integrate test automation into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Design and implement database testing strategies using SQL and PL/SQL to ensure data integrity.
Utilize Agile and Scrum methodologies for test planning, execution, and continuous improvement.
Develop and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTM) to track test coverage.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Manage and track test cases, defects, and project progress using JIRA.
Required Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have 8 years of overall experience in software testing, including automation testing with tools like UFT (Unified Functional Testing), developing test scripts, and performing database testing using SQL and PL/SQL. Strong proficiency in Agile methodologies, IT SDLC processes, and defect management tools like JIRA is required. Experience in developing test plans, test cases, and executing test scripts, along with coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), is essential. Additionally, familiarity with Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTM) and Agile project management methodologies will be valuable in this role.
