Title: Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Role Objective:

The Senior QA Engineer will lead testing efforts, develop and execute comprehensive test plans, and ensure the quality and reliability of software products. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective collaboration within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

Lead and coordinate testing efforts throughout the software development lifecycle.

Identify, prioritize, and track software defects to resolution.

Design and implement automated testing solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide feedback.

Mentor and guide junior QA team members.

Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in software testing.

Key Interactions:

Internal: CDIO, DS&IT department, Strategy team, Business Units & Section Heads, Bank Subsidiaries, Overseas Branches, Internal Audit, Risk Management, and others.

External: Regulatory Bodies, Service Providers/Vendors, External Auditors, Customers, Business Partners & Alliances.

Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience:

Educational Qualifications: University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or related technical discipline. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.

Experience: 7 to 12 years in software quality assurance and testing, preferably in the financial domain.
