About the Role:
As part of the QA team, you’ll help ensure software quality through test automation and process improvement. This is the perfect opportunity for someone proactive, creative, and passionate about building high-quality software in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do:
Design and develop test automation solutions and quality assurance using cloud computing tools, JavaScript/Java, REST, and FIX APIs
Create and implement test plans, scripts, and procedures for financial and trading systems
Develop and execute automated web application test scripts and UI test cases
Automate and validate REST API and FIX API test scenarios
Analyze results, identify issues, and provide solutions for debugging and software improvements
Collaborate with business and tech teams to drive continuous quality improvement
Work with Infra Engineering, QA, and Corp IT to implement large-scale technical solutions
Integrate automated tests into the Jenkins pipeline for continuous testing
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree plus 5-10 years of experience in the financial services industry focusing on trading, money movement, settlement, or clearing
Proficiency in Java and Python
Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Rest Assured, JMeter
Solid understanding of API and FIX Protocol testing
Knowledge of testing trading flows (equity/options, etc.), money movement, and post-trade systems
Familiarity with JIRA and Test Case Management Tools (TestRail/Allure)
Excellent problem-solving, communication, teamwork abilities, and attention to detail
Experience with ActiveMQ/Kafka is a plus

Compensation
Compensation package offerings are based on candidate experience and technical qualifications, as it relates to the role. These are identified and determined throughout your interviewing experience.
Please note: this role is expected to come into our office on a cadence set by the Hiring Manager/Team.
New York, NY (Hybrid) Pay Range
$150,000 – $170,000 USD
