Details about the role
We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer (Manual + Automation) to ensure high-quality delivery of web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have strong manual testing fundamentals, hands-on automation experience, and the ability to independently own QA delivery across multiple projects.
What You'll Do
- Own end-to-end QA delivery for web and mobile applications
- Perform manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts
- Create test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
- Perform cross-browser, cross-device, and responsive testing
- Conduct API testing and backend data validation
- Log, track, and validate defects through resolution
- Collaborate closely with development, product, and business teams
- Participate in sprint planning, release validation, and UAT support
- Mentor junior QA engineers and guide QA best practices
What You Bring
- Strong experience in Web Application Testing
- Experience testing CMS platforms and E-commerce applications
- Exposure to Mobile Application Testing
- Familiarity with JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr
- Experience mentoring junior QA engineers
- Experience handling multiple projects independently
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience in software testing (Manual + Automation)
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on automation experience
- Experience with tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Puppeteer
- Experience in API testing using Postman or REST Assured
- Strong understanding of STLC, defect lifecycle, and QA processes
- Good knowledge of SQL for backend data validation
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Exposure to CI/CD and automation frameworks is a must
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
