Global Quality Head (m/f/d)
In this pivotal role, you will drive excellence in product quality, champion sustainable practices, and lead the charge in developing innovative, circular business models. You will be at the forefront of shaping the company’s quality and sustainability strategy.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Vision: Develop and implement comprehensive quality strategies, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Sustainability Leader: Pioneer circular business practices, focusing on repair, care, and extending product lifecycles.
Quality Management System (QMS): Establish robust QMS processes across design, production, and product lifecycle stages.
Compliance Expert: Manage compliance and risk strategies for hardware, footwear, and apparel, with a focus on PPE (personal protective equipment) standards.
Team Leadership: Inspire and develop quality teams across global locations.
Supplier Development: Drive supplier performance through audits and corrective actions.
Innovation Catalyst: Collaborate with internal and external partners to foster innovative solutions in repair services and circular models.
Customer-Centric Approach: Analyze feedback to identify quality enhancements and ensure exceptional customer experiences.
Your Profile:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced professional with a love for mountains and a strong commitment to quality and innovation:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Quality Management, (Textile) Engineering, or related fields.
8+ years of experience in quality assurance within the outdoor or textile industry.
Deep knowledge of textile materials, manufacturing processes, and PPE standards.
Proficiency in QMS implementation (ISO 9001) and certification processes (TÜV or similar).
Strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a solution-oriented mindset.
Experience with ERP, PLM, and analytical tools; BI & QM tool expertise is a plus.
Fluent in English; German is a plus.
Practical experience with PPE equipment is a plus
