- Senior Quality Assurance Specialist (Cement Industry Experience)Job Purpose The Senior Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all Operational Excellence (OPEX) processes, procedures, and documentation comply with ISO 9001 and other applicable quality standards. The role ensures that process improvements, new procedures, and digital and operational changes meet auditable requirements and are fully integrated into the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
- Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Management, or Process Improvement.
- Preferably with experience in the cement industry or other heavy industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Experience in internal and external audits, verification, and evidence collection.
- Strong document control and quality records management skills.
- Experience in Business Process Management (BPM) and process optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Process Mining tools (e.g., Celonis or similar).
- Experience integrating business processes with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Strong understanding of quality methodologies and frameworks.
- Ability to analyze process efficiency, identify gaps, and recommend improvement opportunities.
- Key Responsibilities ISO Compliance Review and Approval Review and approve new or revised Operational Excellence (OPEX) procedures to ensure alignment with ISO 9001 requirements.
- Verify that document structure, evidence requirements, and traceability meet audit expectations.
- Maintain auditable records supporting approved procedures.
- Stage-Gate Quality Verification Define ISO-compliant stage-gate acceptance criteria for Operational Excellence projects.
- Review stage-gate deliverables and escalate deviations or gaps for corrective action.
- Audits, Gemba Walks, and Non-Conformance Management Conduct internal audits, document reviews, and Gemba walks to identify procedural non-conformities.
- Develop corrective action plans and monitor closure of findings.
- Verify operational compliance with approved procedures and required records.
- Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Audit Preparation and Evidence Management Prepare audit-ready evidence packages for internal and external audits and management reviews.
- Compliance Monitoring and KPI Management Monitor compliance KPIs across the organization.
- Identify systemic quality gaps and escalate findings appropriately.
- Prepare reports and recommendations for management.
- Process Analysis and Optimization Analyze end-to-end business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and compliance gaps.
- Apply Business Process Management (BPM) methodologies to redesign and improve workflows.
- Use Process Mining tools to assess actual process performance and identify deviations.
- Collaborate with ERP and business teams to align process controls and documentation with system workflows.
- Recommend and implement initiatives to improve efficiency, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
- Document Control and Quality Records Management Ensure proper document control, including version control, approvals, retention, and training sign-offs.
- Work closely with the Document Controller to maintain audit-ready traceability.
