Direct Client – Senior QA Analyst with Equity Derivatives Trading Platform expertise. Strong Knowledge in at least one Trading Platform (e.g. Fidessa/Calypso/Summit) is a must.

Job Responsibilities:
Experience/ Skills:
Experience (8+ years) in the field of IT and Testing in the BFSI (Banking and Financial Industry) domain.
Strong Domain skills – Must have working experience in Capital Markets across modules and instruments especially Derivatives (Bonds, Options, Futures, Swaps)
Strong Working expertise in at least one Trading Platform (e.g. Fidessa/Calypso)
Experience in testing BFSI Domain applications with a proper understanding of the Trade Lifecycle.
Experience and in-depth understanding of the Software Testing principles.
Experience with Applications in Front/Middle Office operations.
Knowledge of FIX Protocol.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Drive and manage onsite (North Americas), satellite (London) and offshore (India) QA team members in Equity Derivatives area and keep track of each release cycle and project delivery
Provide clear direction and vision to QA team members
Ensure all regression and new functionality is tested each release cycle
Identify and fill gaps in existing QA regression test suite and process.
Provide regular status to business and IT stake holders
Gather details about testing priorities and focus
Sit down with team and Identify types of tests to be performed
Preparation of test plan / strategy document for various types of testing
Provide solution for application automation
Create test cases, automation scripts (if applicable)
Prepare requirement traceability matrix (RTM)
Execute tests as per plan
