We are currently hiring on behalf of a reputable Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals company in Riyadh seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to oversee quality control processes and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
About the Role
As a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems in a complex industrial environment. This role requires a strong background in QA/QC within the oil and gas sector, attention to detail, and the ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives across operations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain quality assurance procedures aligned with international standards and industry best practices.
Conduct audits, inspections, and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory and client requirements.
Lead the identification and resolution of quality-related issues across departments.
Review and approve quality documentation, including inspection reports, certificates, and test results.
Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure quality expectations are met.
Support project teams during execution phases by providing QA expertise and oversight.
Maintain quality metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management.
Train and mentor junior QA personnel and promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Quality Assurance within the oil, gas, or petrochemical sectors.
In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, API standards, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
Proven experience conducting audits and root cause analyses.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.
QA certifications (e.g., CQE, CQA) are highly preferred.
