Our client, a global Fintech company based in New York City, is seeking a full-time and remote Senior Quality Assurance Tester to join their team and be an active contributor in building a trading platform. Candidates must be able to work for any company without a visa transfer. No agencies!
Our client is a fast-paced fintech company that rapidly develops and deploys software, and they are looking to expand their QA team to support the growing output of our development organization.
In this role, you’ll gain a broad understanding of our client’s technology stack and will be responsible for writing and executing comprehensive test plans for product releases. You’ll be expected to evaluate component interactions, understand complex functional requirements, and develop robust test cases that ensure functionality across our front-to-back trading system. Creativity and technical insight are key as you identify edge cases and validate feature behavior under real-world conditions.
As a senior team member, you will also mentor junior QA staff and play a key role in improving internal QA processes by offering strategic guidance and implementing best practices.
Requirements:5+ years’ experience in software quality assurance
Experience in financial services technology (fintech)
Foreign Exchange (FX) trading systems
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Well-organized work habits with attention to detail.
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college, or work experience in a technical field
Strong computer skills
Strong analytical/quantitative skills
