Summary: Position serves a key quality assurance role as a member of the fee-for-service operations team. Supports and assists all agency programs as well as Finance staff and other stakeholders to facilitate Medicaid information for persons served. Assures accuracy in individual support plans (know services, units, language) and billing authorizations for individuals served. Responsible for the coordination and implementation of Fee for Service projects (annual reports, ISP program objectives, PCPT) agency wide.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in social services, public health, business, computer science or related field preferred. Strong written and verbal skills; ability to train staff and work effectively across all agency lines. Must possess excellent computer and customer service skills and be able to demonstrate the capacity to work effectively with electronic health records. Experience with Therap Services a plus.

Description of Duties:

Exercises judgment in prioritizing daily activities and problem-solving. Must be able to work effectively with team members across service lines such as residential, individual supports, health services, and day habilitation.

A New Jersey Driver’s License and a driving record that is acceptable to Arc and its insurer.

1. Develop Individual service plans including updating and maintaining Electronic Health records.

2. Participate as a member of an inter-disciplinary team in the development and implementation of Service Plans for the individuals served.

3. Serve integral role in service intakes by capturing and communicating the requisite information to determine appropriate placement into the organization.

4. Review New Jersey Individual Support Plan submissions and communicate need for changes with Support Coordinators.

5. Develop licensing strategies and New Jersey ISP goals that will foster independence and support served individuals in their dreams and desires.

6. Work closely with Support Coordinators outside of the organization.

7. Monitor, identify and resolve problems, and when necessary, route requests to internal and external resources to problem-solve.

8. Deliver excellent customer services with a high degree of flexibility and independent judgement following standardized operating procedures to internal and external customers.

9. Serve as a liaison between internal and external providers and other stakeholders.

10. Complete billing vouchers assuring quality checks before submission, working closely with the Billing Specialist and Department Leads.

11. Develop and implement methods and techniques within the programs and the community to attain the Service Plan goals for the individuals served.

12. Prepare and/or oversee preparation of electronic records such as survey summaries, service annual reports, and other reports as needed.

13. Conduct and/or participate in meetings, take minutes, attend trainings and workshops serve on committees, and other events as assigned.

14. Train staff on Service Plan implementation and documentation of services, as well as other applicable service provisions.

15. Complete quality checks of documentation in Electronic Health Records.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
