Senior Quality Control Inspector Jobs in Clarksburg, MD at Thales Defense & Security, Inc.
Primary Purpose: To assist the quality control department in meeting and exceeding pre-determined requisites and guidelines through established functional programs.
Essential Functions:
Print labels for specified shifts
Perform 1st piece approval process
Provide boundary samples for all production runs
Verify correct documentation identified per product / work cell
Perform label verification process – 1 tote per pallet
Perform in-process part inspection per DIS (verify frequency per specific product
Perform LPA audits as scheduled
Meet as IATF 16949 requirements for your area; step-by step, packaging, quality alerts, and visual aids
Document detailed summary of shift concerns for the next shift
Assist with training of new / in-training operators
Pass color verification (Hue Test). Re-certify at Managements discretion
Perform tasks with specific measuring devices (i.e. calipers, gages, Macbeth Light etc.)
Must be able to work Night Shift: 10:45pm-7:15pm or Day Shift: 6:45am-3:15pm
Qualifications:
Good organizational skills.
Ability to work well within a team environment
1+ year of manufacturing experience, preferably in plastics and automotive industry
Basic knowledge of quality control
Excellent attendance record
