Primary Responsibilities:
Accurately follow detailed written protocols for the preparation of antibodies, proteins, and reagents.
Perform quality control testing, including accurate record keeping, data collection, statistical analysis, and reporting as required.
Maintain laboratory work areas by preparing buffers and reagents, and ensuring cleanliness and proper maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Obtain technical assistance as needed to successfully complete responsibilities.
Perform other duties as assigned to support laboratory operations.
Scope:
Work as part of a small team.
Effectively manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing daily responsibilities.
Exercise judgment within established procedures to determine appropriate actions.
Typically follow general weekly schedules for routine work, with detailed instructions provided for new assignments.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a biotechnology discipline (e.g., immunology, biology, or related field) or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 1 year experience in a laboratory environment such as biotechnology manufacturing, research and/or development.
Logical thinking skills, ability to work effectively with others, and ability to think independently.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
